Cassie DeNisco: (Social Media Manager/ Junior Crew/Petite Team/Tumble)

Miss Cassie began dancing at the young age of 18 months, as soon as she could walk, at On My Toes Dance Academy. Throughout her years of dancing, she has trained in various styles such as ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, jazz, tap, and hip hop. She was also invited to be a member of OMT’s first ever Dance Company as well as participated in her high school’s dance team. Miss Cassie’s

love of dance evolved into a love for teaching dance and sharing her passion with students when she was asked to be an assistant teacher at only 13. In addition to dance, Miss Cassie participated in competitive cheerleading for over 10 years on an All-Star team. Through cheer, she received extensive training in tumbling and gymnastics. Miss Cassie brings this knowledge of strength, flexibility and tumble she learned from cheerleading to the dance classes she instructs. Miss Cassie continues to train and take classes as much as she’s able to locally and in New York City. She has now been teaching dance for over 5 years and has loved every minute of it. Miss Cassie’s passion for dance stemmed from her experience at On My Toes where the atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive for all dancers. She is now excited to be able to provide that same experience for other dancers and share her love of dance here at OMT.

Alison Otto Walsh: (Ballet)

Being  the youngest of seven siblings who all danced professionally, I started ballet at my mother’s school at the age of 3.When ready, my training continued at SAB and ABT and I was fortunate to be able to perform in both companies while being a student in the school. My professional career had me performing throughout the tri-state area while still being able to teach and choreograph for Ballet Atlantic Academy. Throughout my 23 year career I have choreographed and stage many ballets from full lenghts to neo claisscal pieces and class recitals. In 2008, I changed my career path and joined IASTE Local 764 wardrobe union. I am currently still an active member. I work for NYCB, ABT, The Rockettes and have swung on various Broadway shows.Since the pandemic, I had a child and am now looking to get back into teaching , so that I can havethe flexibility of being with my daughter througout the day.I believe that being genuine and nurturing, along with being driven and having a profefesional demeanor, is an essential combination for teachers in the ever changing field of Performing Arts.Working with people from diverse backgrounds has provided me with a deep understanding and awareness of differences in  individuals .
